Ai Otsuka's Biography - Childhood and School Days

Ai Otsuka was born 9.09.1982 in Osaka as an only child. She has always been a very special, extremely gifted girl. At the age of 4, Ai began her adventure with piano and with music in general. She was doing pretty well, which was quite unusual as for such a young child. No wonder that years later Ai was able to write both lyrics and music completely on her own. When she was 16 she wrote ‘Cherish’, a year later - ‘Amaenbo’. As we can see, her music talent was not learnt, unlike many other artists on stage. She just felt the music, flowing from the heart. In addition, Ai discovered her drawing skills, which were an excellent extension to her music. Luckily, her passions didn’t collide with studies, because Ai was bright, remarkably intelligent and keen on mind games. The fact that maths was her favourite school subject proves these words perfectly. Surprisingly, Ai didn’t decide on continuing her carrer in science, but she obtained a kindergarten teacher license. Well, I must say that those small kids could be very happy having so multi-talented Miss... :)
