Ai Otsuka tweets about LOVE is BORN concert in Tokyo / Caring Ai-chan

In a recent tweet, Ai Otsuka thanked everyone for a successful concert in Tokyo, lots of presents and wishes and the birthday party. She mentioned that her daughter danced in a "LUCKY STAR" outfit in the dressing room :)

Moreover, Ai wrote that someone had collapsed during the concert which made her very worried. She hopes that everyone could come back home safely. It seems that our dear Ai-chin truly cares about her fans :)

I also hope that everyone attending LOVE is BORN concerts are fine and all their memories from the events will be precious and cherished! :)

Ai Otsuka sang her classic songs such as "Sakuranbo", "CHU-LIP", "Planetarium" or "Birthday Song", but she concentrated also on her newer compositions from her last studio album "LOVE LETTER", as well as the most recent singles ("LUCKY STAR", "Action 10.5") and songs which had never been performed before ("Hikari" and "Gomen ne").

When it comes to my guessing game, it seems I guessed correctly only 5 songs :D It's only because Ai-chan loves surprising her fans and her shows always are unpredictable to some extent :D

Tetsuo Hiraga tweets about LOVE is BORN!

A journalist from Billboard Japan known for his frequent interaction with Ai-chan, Tetsuo Hiraga, has tweeted about today's LOVE is BORN concert. He wrote:

I'm posting a rough English translation:
It's been 2 years since 9th of September 2010 when she announced her comeback. She was in her late 20's - welcome back. [Here's something I can't really understand - about concentration of Ai-chin and crying from joy - DagaSkywalker]. That setlist. I fell for a married woman. Tomorrow ['s concert] will be even more amazing.

Moreover, in one of his previous posts about Ai and LOVE is BORN, he sent a picture which shows a ticket for the today's show!

Well, that means there are lots of exciting things to come! :)

LOVE is BORN ~9th Anniversary 2012 - today's the day!

After a very long wait, Ai-chin is finally back with the first of her LOVE is BORN concerts! As far as I know, right now it's around 9:30 PM in Japan, so the concert in Tokyo has already started. We're waiting for fan accounts and photos after the event!

I'm going to have some fun while I'm waiting for more info about the concert... :) I'm going to guess which songs are included in the setlist and them I'm going to check how many of them I guessed correctly :D

LOVE is BORN ~9th Anniversary - new dates, goods & tickets update

LOVE is BORN ~9th Anniversary is getting closer and closer! It seems the events are going to be very successful, as some dates are already sold out and a couple of new dates have been added. In addition, goods related to the concerts are now available (see them here). I love the T-shirts and gadgets with the cat AiO :)

Dates and venues are as follows:

• 8 September 2012 (Saturday) - Tokyo Hibiya Open-air Concert Hall
• 9 September 2012 (Sunday) - Tokyo Hibiya Open-air Concert Hall SOLD OUT
• 15 September 2012 (Saturday) - Orix Theater, Osaka
• 16 September 2012 (Sunday) - Kobe International House SOLD OUT
• 29 September 2012 (Saturday) - Nagoya Congress Center

Right now, the tickets for certain dates are still available and they look like this:

LOVE is BORN ~9th Anniversary 2012~ confirmed!

Ai Otsuka comes back on stage with her show LOVE is BORN ~9th Anniversary 2012~!

In a message to her mobile fanclub LOVE9CUBE, the singer confirmed that the recent important decision that she made concerned her musical activities. This year, LOVE is BORN concerts will take place in Tokyo, Kobe and Nagoya. Here you have more detailed information about dates and venues:

• September 09, 2012 (Sunday) - Tokyo Hibiya Open-air Concert Hall
• September 16, 2012 (Sunday) - Kobe International House
• September 29, 2012 (Saturday) - Nagoya Congress Center

The ticket prices are 7.350 yen for a regular seat and 9.999 yen for a seat and goodies. LOVE9CUBE members will be able to buy their tickets from May 25.

At the moment, further details such as theme and merchandise are unknown, but surely they will be announced later.

Ai Otsuka fans - are you excited? I know that I am! :D
